A full digital home for a fictional 250-machine retro arcade: a CRT-noir design system with scanlines, neon glow and pixel type, a hoverable lineup ledger, a justified photo mosaic with a from-scratch lightbox, an event ledger wired to social, and media slots the owner updates by dropping files in.
Frontend build · fictional demo brand. Events, hours and counts are illustrative; media slots self-heal from the images folder.
Heroes Venture is a fictional flagship built to show what a big venue gets from a small studio. The brief: a site that feels like powering on a cabinet — scanlines, neon, the dragon mark from the logo hovering over a real floor photo — while staying serviceable enough for a non-technical owner to run alone.
Arcades run on uptime and events. The site had to sell both: the machines by day, the bar and shows after dark, and every photo slot ready for the client's own Facebook library.
The design system is CRT noir taken seriously: magenta-pink for energy, cyan for the machines' glow, gold for score readouts, green for the money. Three typefaces do three jobs — Press Start 2P as the 8-bit voice, Orbitron for marquee headlines, Inter for everything that needs to be read. Scanlines and glow are pure CSS, GPU-cheap, and reduced-motion aware.
The client's own photo library replacing demo imagery, a real ticketing or event platform if wanted, verified hours and contact details, and the retainer that keeps the lineup current. The build is engineered so that handoff is a checklist, not a rebuild.
Lit cabinet at midnight: four neons, one per data type — pink for energy, cyan for machines, gold for scores, green for money. Everything sits on near-black plum.
“A website that feels like the arcade.”
Photography that pops, events that stay current, and an owner who never touches code. That's the whole-stack package.
